In an increasingly tumultuous era, how can chefs best increase awareness for the causes they care about and give back to the communities they love? This spring, a group of Chicago chefs generated over $36,000 for immigrant communities in one night, just by making soup. We’ll hear what spurned their sudden communal action, what they learned, and how Solidarity Soup might be a model for culinary activism going forward.
